Below are common questions about the IRWST Apprenticeship Program.
Is this a franchise?
No. IRWST does not operate as a franchise and does not require ongoing fees, royalties, or oversight.
Is this classroom training?
No. This is a hands-on apprenticeship conducted in real service environments.
Do I need prior experience?
No prior experience is required, but participants should be prepared to learn through direct, hands-on work.
Will I be able to operate independently after?
The program is designed to develop real-world competency so participants can operate independently.
How long is the program?
Six full days of in-person training. Cohorts are limited to two participants.
Where does training take place?
Florida January through mid-June and Northwest Arkansas mid-June through December.
What is included in the equipment package?
A professional-grade starter kit with the core tools necessary to perform RV waste system cleaning in the field. A full list is provided after acceptance.
Are meals or lodging included?
Dinner is provided for four evenings during the training week. Lodging is not included.
Is there a geographic operating restriction?
Yes. Apprentices agree that they will not provide RV waste system cleaning services within a 100-mile radius of the operating service areas of RV Tank Cleaning of Eastern Florida LLC (including both the Florida and Northwest Arkansas service regions). This restriction is intended to protect the local operating markets of the founders’ field service business.
